2025 Update – Performance of Dexion Storage Systems 12 Years On

In 2025, a member of the Premier Storage team returned to the site of a major project originally completed in 2013. The installation of these Dexion storage systems took only seven weeks and was tailored to improve storage capacity, organisation, and efficiency. The purpose of this return visit was to assess the condition and performance of the Dexion racking systems. This included Dexion longspan shelving and Dexion warehouse racking. As a result, we’re proud to report that the depot remains smart, efficient, and professionally maintained. Importantly, the original equipment is still in active use.

• In addition, the space continues to support a broad and varied product range effectively
• Moreover, the depot is clean, organised, and running efficiently – a clear sign of a well-maintained system
• Finally, no significant repairs or replacements have been needed in over a decade

Back in 2013, Premier Storage & Office Solutions carried out a full Dexion warehouse racking fit-out for St Leger Homes at their 1,820 square metre depot in Doncaster. The project ran for just seven weeks from order to completion. Consequently, it was designed to accommodate a wide range of stock. This included bulky kitchen units as well as small components. As a result, the depot gained a versatile mix of Dexion storage systems.

St Leger Homes chose the Dexion system for its proven reliability, security, and ease of maintenance. In addition, the design aligned with systems already used across their other depots.
